[Lenovo Executive: No Surplus in Computing Power]
Odaily Planet Daily News – Lenovo Group Vice President and Lenovo China Chief Strategy Officer Ablikim Ablimit stated that, in the long term, whether in the Chinese or overseas markets, there is still significant room for demand in AI computing power, and there is no situation of surplus computing power. He noted that the number of mature, leading AI products on the consumer (C-end) side is limited, and the potential for enterprise (B-end) commercialization has not yet been fully realized. The growth dividends of every productivity revolution have been driven by the industrial side, and in the long run, the demand for computing power is enormous. He also pointed out that the current AI industry chain faces issues such as an overly strong discourse power on the supply side and an imbalance in the supply-demand cycle. On the news front, Meta's recent opening of computing power has sparked market concerns about a potential surplus in computing power. (Yicai)
