Looks like everyone can’t hold back anymore. The boss of Palantir, a leading U.S. AI arms dealer and data company, went on a rant during a media interview.
He slammed the CEOs of OpenAI and Anthropic, questioning why, if AI can really help businesses make a lot of money, they don’t share profits based on results but instead charge subscription fees? This exposes that what they’re actually selling is computing resources, not delivering real value.
On top of that, these corporate clients are paying while feeding massive amounts of internal data to AI companies for training, but these AI companies could easily sell that data to their competitors.
He mentioned that many U.S. corporate executives are privately furious right now, but they choose to stay silent out of fear of offending the AI giants and investors. In reality, the dissatisfaction has been brewing for a long time.
