Bank of America predicts that the Bank of Canada will remain inactive this year even if the Federal Reserve raises interest rates. According to Golden Jubilee Data on July 1st, the situation of Bank of Canada Governor McClelland is different from that of other global central banks. Canada's core inflation index is close to 2%, and energy rich regions in Canada have gained short-term gains from soaring oil prices. The economy seems to have no risk of overheating. After experiencing a slight contraction in the first quarter, the annualized growth rate in the second quarter is expected to exceed 2%. Traders have gradually withdrawn their previous bets on the Bank of Canada raising interest rates by the end of this year. Bank of America expects to maintain interest rates unchanged until 2027, even if the Federal Reserve resumes raising rates.
