**[Samsung Electronics Announces 2nm Process and AI Semiconductor Ecosystem Collaboration Plan]** Odaily Planet Daily News – Samsung Electronics hosted the SAFE Forum 2026 in Seoul, unveiling its next-generation 2nm process, DTCO (Design Technology Co-Optimization) technology, high-performance SRAM roadmap, and plans to expand Korea's AI semiconductor ecosystem collaboration and next-generation foundry technology strategy. Samsung Electronics stated that it will use the SAFE Forum to strengthen communication with customers and partners, while enhancing its platform role in Korea's system semiconductor industry beyond wafer foundry production. Korean AI fabless company Rebellions announced that it has developed the REBEL100 NPU based on Samsung Electronics' 4nm foundry process and advanced packaging, and will continue collaborating in the AI semiconductor field. Samsung Electronics is also participating in the M.AX Alliance promoted by Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy, advancing the development of low-power, high-performance edge AI semiconductors for automotive, home appliances, robotics, and defense sectors. Additionally, it will continue supporting the MPW project, which reduces the initial sample production burden for Korean fabless companies, as well as the K-CHIPS talent cultivation program.
