According to a report by Jinse Finance, on July 1, Anthropic launched a new software aimed at helping scientists achieve research automation, with the goal of reducing the tedious and repetitive aspects of their work. In a statement on Tuesday, Anthropic stated that Claude Science can be used to automate a range of biology and chemistry tasks, such as predicting protein structures. The software integrates a variety of tools commonly used by scientists, including over 60 scientific databases. According to the company, its concept is to enable scientists to more easily automate multi-step tasks, ask questions using natural language, and obtain answers without needing to consult multiple independent sources of information. Anthropic announced that Claude Science will be available as a beta version to the company’s paid users.
