Recently finished reading the complete concept of Agentic Economy (智能体经济) on http://okx.ai @okxchinese. My biggest takeaway is that it’s no longer about whether 'AI will replace humans,' but rather about rethinking how the economy will be reorganized in the future. In the past, every technological revolution has given rise to new economic forms. The internet changed the flow of information, mobile internet transformed connectivity, and blockchain enabled the free flow of value. Now, AI is starting to make 'intelligence' itself a form of productivity that can be called upon, collaborated with, and traded. What’s truly worth paying attention to isn’t how much more models can improve, but how AI can evolve from being a chat tool into a production system that continuously creates value. One perspective in the article left a deep impression on me: in the future, the most scarce resource may no longer be execution ability, but judgment ability. As more and more repetitive tasks can be handed over to Agents, the true value of humans will return to insight, decision-making, creativity, and choosing direction. In the future, with the help of multiple Agents, one person might be able to accomplish what previously required an entire team, meaning the concept of a 'one-person company' might no longer be just an idea. Of course, for all this to truly happen, we’ll need reliable systems for payment, identity, collaboration, and settlement—this is where blockchain can play a role. Whether OKX AI can become a key infrastructure for this new Agentic Economy remains to be seen, but at the very least, it raises an interesting question: in the future, will we use apps, or will Agents use the internet on our behalf?
