Helix, an AI infrastructure company supported by KKR, enters the data center investment track to accelerate computing power supply On June 30th, according to The Information, Helix Infrastructure Partners, a newly established AI infrastructure company supported by private equity giant KKR, officially entered the AI data center investment track. It plans to accelerate the provision of customized computing facilities for large-scale cloud vendors by acquiring existing data center developers. Helix, led by former Amazon Web Services executive Adam Selipsky and supported by industry capital such as NVIDIA, aims to quickly acquire mature assets rather than building data centers from scratch in the context of sustained high demand for AI computing power. It is reported that the company is evaluating the acquisition of a data center enterprise that focuses on developing customized facilities for large cloud customers to alleviate the current market "data center supply bottleneck" and accelerate the pace of AI infrastructure deployment. Analysts point out that under the dual constraints of explosive demand for AI computing power and tight power resources, private capital is accelerating its involvement in data center asset integration, promoting the transformation of AI infrastructure from development driven to acquisition driven.
