[BlackRock Downgrades Emerging Market Stocks Due to AI Risks]
Odaily Planet Daily News - BlackRock's research arm highlighted in its mid-2026 Global Investment Outlook report that it holds a cautious stance on emerging market stocks while favoring short- and medium-term government bonds in the Eurozone. Regarding the former, the report pointed out concentrated risks associated with artificial intelligence. As for the latter, the report suggested that concerns over policy related to interest rate outlooks appear to be overblown. The world's largest asset management company has downgraded its rating for emerging market stocks over the next 6 to 12 months from "overweight" to "neutral." The report noted risks in markets such as South Korea, which are heavily reliant on AI-related companies. (Jin10)
