[SEMI: Global 300mm Memory Fab Equipment Investment to Exceed $50 Billion for the First Time in 2026] According to a report by Jinse Finance, on June 30, SEMI's latest report predicts that global 300mm memory fab equipment investment is expected to surpass the $50 billion mark for the first time in 2026, reaching $52 billion, a year-on-year increase of 29%. Breaking it down by segment, DRAM equipment spending will account for 71% of the total at $37 billion, with a year-on-year growth of 29%; NAND equipment spending is expected to grow almost in parallel, increasing 28% year-on-year to $14 billion. Global 300mm memory fab equipment investment is projected to grow another 11% in 2027, reaching $57 billion. The compound annual growth rate (CAGR) for the six years from 2024 to 2029 is expected to be +19%, indicating that capacity expansion will remain robust over the long term.
