China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) on June 30 released its April 2026 global trade-friction index at 106, a high reading. The value of measures involved fell 28.7% YoY but rose 5.0% MoM. Among 20 monitored countries/regions, the US, India and the EU ranked top three. The US continued to widen unilateral tools, expanding Section 232 tariff coverage to imports including steel and aluminum and publishing its Special 301 report, leaving US measures largest by amount.(金十数据)
