[Putting AI Programming into Your Phone: Cursor Launches iOS App, Core Model Composer at Limited-Time 75% Off]
According to monitoring by Beating, AI code editor Cursor has launched a public beta version of its native iOS app, enabling developers to write code directly on their phones. The app addresses the pain point of developers needing to stay at their computers to run AI tasks. Now, you only need to select a code repository on your phone and express your ideas via text or voice to initiate a 24/7 cloud-based AI assistant. The AI will independently run tasks, test code, and generate merge requests in a virtual cloud environment. If you want to control tasks on your home or office computer, you can also do so remotely via your phone.
To enhance the mobile experience, Cursor integrates Apple's "Live Activities" lock screen notifications. Once the AI finishes running code, requires manual confirmation, or generates a merge request, your phone's lock screen will notify you directly. You can intuitively view AI-generated web effects, screenshots, and code modification comparisons on your phone, and even merge code with a single tap.
The iOS version is now available to all paid users. Before July 5, running the core programming feature Composer 2.5 through the mobile app will enjoy a limited-time 75% discount. [Original Link]
