Breez launches Bitcoin balance direct sending USDC and USDT function Odaily Planet Daily News: Bitcoin infrastructure company Breez has added a feature in its developer toolkit that allows users to directly send USDC and USDT from their Bitcoin balance to over 30 blockchain networks without the need for early conversion or holding stablecoins. This feature combines Lightning Network with automatic conversion mechanism. After the user inputs the receiving wallet address, the Breez SDK will recognize the target blockchain, calculate the conversion path, and display the amount, network, and fees before payment confirmation. The transaction is then routed through liquidity providers such as Flashnet and Boltz, converting the sender's Bitcoin into stablecoins and sending them to the blockchain chosen by the payee. Breez stated that users still hold Bitcoin before initiating payments, and the recipient receives stablecoins on their preferred blockchain. This feature is in non custodial mode and initially only supports sending stablecoins externally. Future versions plan to support receiving stablecoins from external blockchain networks.
