Absolutely right! A lot of people see OI rising and immediately assume it's accumulation—total wreck incoming. What really matters is the price + OI. If the price stabilizes at a key support level and OI starts climbing, then the probability of accumulation is higher. But if the price is still weak and OI increases, it's usually shorts adding positions or a long-short rotation, not bottom-fishing funds entering the market.
