According to a report by Jinse Finance on June 29, citing sources familiar with the matter, U.S. pipeline operator Williams Companies is in advanced negotiations to acquire rival natural gas pipeline operator Momentum Midstream for approximately $5.5 billion. The report states that the Tulsa, Oklahoma-based company is finalizing the details of an agreement to acquire Momentum from private equity firm EnCap Flatrock Midstream, adding that the deal could be announced within about a week.
