**[Paradis Labs: GS Predicts Korea Will Supply 30% of Humanoid Robot Components by 2035]** Odaily Planet Daily News – Paradis Labs posted on the X platform, stating that Korea's humanoid robot supply chain is critical to the upcoming increase in humanoid robot production. GS predicts that by 2035, 30% of humanoid robot components will come from Korea, due to the country's automotive industry experience being transferable to the production capabilities of humanoid robot parts such as actuators. Actuators essentially mimic human muscles and joints, currently accounting for approximately 50% of the bill of materials for humanoid robots. Korea has an advantage in actuator production because the related technologies are similar to those used in automotive components like power steering, braking systems, and autonomous driving technologies. GS noted that several Korean automotive parts manufacturers have leveraged this expertise to establish themselves as major non-Chinese suppliers of critical actuators for robots. Paradis Labs stated that Korea appears poised to play a significant role among non-Chinese key suppliers for upstream humanoid robot components. Additionally, Korea holds a critical position in the AI supply chain through the storage businesses of SK hynix and Samsung.
