[U.S. Central Command Confirms Another Strike on Iran]
According to a report by Jinse Finance, on June 28, the U.S. Central Command issued a statement saying that on June 27, under the direction of the Commander, U.S. Central Command forces conducted additional strikes on multiple targets in Iran. Following yesterday's U.S. strike on Iran in response to its attack on the cargo ship "M/V EverLovely," Iran had the opportunity to adhere to the ceasefire agreement. However, its forces launched a one-way attack drone early this morning (4:30 AM Eastern Time, Saturday), striking the oil tanker "M/T Kiku," which resulted in the vessel's destruction. The Panama-flagged oil tanker was navigating near the Strait of Hormuz at the time, carrying over two million barrels of crude oil. Today, U.S. Central Command forces responded to Iran's continued attacks on commercial vessels. U.S. military aircraft targeted Iran's military surveillance facilities, communication systems, air defense sites, drone storage facilities, and naval mine deployment capabilities. Commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz continues. The U.S. military remains vigilant and on standby.
