The Crypto Fear and Greed index has traded around the "extreme fear" levels for many weeks already during this down trend. Back in the day, you could pretty blindly buy BTC the moment this hit extreme fear levels and you'd be up within weeks usually. Nowadays, this metric is pretty outdated and is more so lagging price (as do most indicators/metrics). I still like to come back to watch it from time to time.(Daan Crypto Trades)
