Prediction market platform Polymarket revealed that its website frontend was injected with malicious code due to a breach of a third-party vendor, leading to hackers stealing approximately $3 million in user assets. On-chain analysis shows that fewer than 15 accounts were affected, with the stolen funds primarily being the platform's stablecoin pUSD, which was later converted to ETH. Polymarket stated that the vulnerability has been fixed and affected users will be fully compensated. This marks the second security incident on the platform in the past two months.
