[Notion Open beta Claude and cursor agents: Kanban direct dispatch, supports external subscriptions] According to Beating monitoring, Notion announced the public beta testing of the External Agents platform in the Business and Enterprise programs, supporting the integration of Anthropic's Claude and AI programming tool Cursor into team collaboration dashboards. The team can @ the agent in the Notion workspace like mentioning colleagues, or directly assign tasks on the task board, allowing AI to automatically collaborate in the background to complete tasks such as code writing, data analysis, and content generation. For ordinary office users, the newly tested Claude agent operates based on the Anthropic Hosted Agent (CMA) architecture. Users do not need to configure complex API keys and can directly pay based on the number of runs using Notion credits. After assigning task cards to the agent, the model is able to autonomously read associated documents and perform multi-step planning. However, it should also be noted that due to the stateful operation of the CMA architecture, Notion's existing Zero Data Residual (ZDR) commitment is not applicable to Claude agents, and session data will be retained on the server side. Notion has opened up external agent interfaces for the development team. Users can bind the locally running cursor agent to the Notion workspace. For example, after assigning coding tasks on the Notion board, the cursor will use the user's personal subscription to complete code development and submit a Pull Request in the local runtime environment. Finally, the execution result will be automatically written back to the Notion task page along with the PR link, achieving zero Notion point consumption in development automation. [Original link]
