After investigating the issue of cross-border transfer of personal information involved in the sharing of order books by crypto exchanges, the South Korean Personal Information Protection Commission determined that the order book sharing between Upbit and Upbit APAC did not constitute a violation. It was confirmed that Upbit's operator, Dunamu, was not found to have breached cross-border transfer regulations, and therefore no additional penalties were imposed. (Digital Asset)
