Sonic posted that according to its tokenomics model, the protocol can mint 47.625 million S tokens annually for ecosystem growth, with the first allocation minted on June 18, 2025. However, Sonic stated that this year's annual issuance was not executed and is working towards halting further inflation of S token supply.
