I read about the layoffs happening at Ethereum Foundation and the part that surprised me the most is how large EF is. The organization is 270 people large before they laid off 20% of their staff! Why are there so many people at EF and what do they all do there? Managing people is a lot of headache, especially a few hundred people. No wonder things feel so dysfunctional in Ethereum the past few years. This trim is much needed and I would argue that EF needs to trim more to make things more focused and lean. That way EF can stop selling so much ETH and dump on all of us too!(Bobby Ong)
