According to French media Ouest-France, the gendarmerie investigation unit in Nantes, France, has dismantled a network supplying stolen vehicles to organized crime groups, with 18 people currently implicated. The report states that the network was remotely directed by a mastermind serving time in a Paris prison. Since the summer of 2025, the group has carried out around 60 home break-ins and car thefts in the Loire-Atlantique department, Morbihan in Brittany, and surrounding areas.
