[SpaceX Investor Andreessen: 'Starship' Paves the Way for Space AI Development] According to a report by Jinse Finance, on June 25, SpaceX investor and Andreessen Horowitz LLC partner David George stated that the 'rapid reusability' feature of the new 'Starship' rocket is critical to realizing Elon Musk's vision of expanding artificial intelligence computing power through orbital data centers. George noted that once 'Starship' is operational, extending AI capabilities into space will become an inevitable trend, as the capacity of AI data centers on Earth is increasingly constrained. He proposed a new perspective on these future satellites: 'GPU racks the size of airplanes deployed in space.' George said, 'At the very least, orbital data centers will exist in space as a supplementary computing power to Earth's existing facilities.' He suggested that, from an economic standpoint, space infrastructure could eventually surpass ground-based facilities. He also pointed out that SpaceX has already demonstrated the technical capability to deploy such systems.
