Sentient Foundation Commits $42 Million to Advance Open-Source General AI Development

The program combines non-dilutive funding with investments to promote the openness and accessibility of AI infrastructure, models, tools, and applications. The initiative has already received support from institutions such as Alibaba Cloud, Franklin Templeton, Princeton University, and the Indian Institute of Science. Applications are now open and will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
