[SecondFi: 16 million ADA stolen from 374 addresses, remaining 129 million ADA transferred to third-party custody] Golden Finance reported that on June 24, Cardano ecosystem project SecondFi disclosed details of a security breach. The root cause of the theft has now been identified, and patches have been released for all unaffected wallets. This will enable us to resume normal operations soon. Regarding the affected wallets, a total of four separate theft incidents occurred. Three of these were carried out by external attackers, resulting in the loss of approximately 16 million ADA across 374 addresses. To prevent the complete loss of assets during the ongoing attack, we initiated emergency rescue measures to protect the remaining approximately 129 million ADA. These assets are being transferred to an independent and qualified third-party custody institution for safekeeping, ensuring the rights of the affected wallet address owners. An external accounting firm has been commissioned to conduct a special audit to independently verify the holdings of these assets.
