Wu Blockchain has learned that Sonic Labs released its latest progress update, announcing that the Fantom Opera network will continue operating until at least the end of 2026, with ongoing funding support for the cross-chain bridge during this period. The team stated that this decision was driven by community feedback, as the network was previously planned to cease operations by the end of this month. At the same time, Sonic Labs unveiled a new management structure, appointing Matt Visser as CEO and Kosta Kourkoumelis as COO. They also announced plans to disclose team member roles and gradually phase out the unified “Contributor” label. Additionally, the project team revealed that they will begin lifting restrictions on certain community accounts, allowing for normal expressions of critical opinions. They will establish dedicated communication channels for disclosures, support, feedback, and developer collaboration. Plans are also in place to launch a more robust ticket support system and host community engagement events. The team stated that they will regularly disclose operational updates moving forward. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/sonic-extends-fantom-opera-run-to-year-end-announces-new-management-63357
