[Google Leverages Employee Alumni Network to Support AI Startup Incubation Program] According to a report by Jinse Finance, on June 23, Google is supporting a 12-week incubation program aimed at former employees who are founding AI startups. The program is backed by the Google AI Future Fund and will provide selected startups with up to $350,000 in Google Cloud and AI credits, as well as up to $100,000 in funding support. Organizers expect to select 10 to 20 startups for the first cohort. The program is set to be announced on Tuesday, coinciding with Google's efforts to attract more AI companies to use its chips and cloud computing services. By working more closely with its extensive network of former employees (known as "Xooglers"), Google hopes to establish deeper relationships with a group of emerging AI companies that could become significant clients in the future. Former Google employee Kushagra Shrivastava stated, "Many founders in our community are now leveraging AI, but they lack systematic support." Former Google employee Chris Fong commented, "Access at this level is extremely rare." Fong founded the Xoogler community platform, which is also one of the supporters of the new incubation program. Fong noted that his Google alumni network has expanded to over 35,000 members globally, including 2,500 qualified investors.
