MetaMask: The message mocking Jarefromsubway.eth was not officially sent, and the related ENS name is held by a third party
According to a report by Golden Finance, on June 23rd, the cryptocurrency wallet application MetaMask tweeted in response to "MetaMask-eth's comments on the chain mocking the theft of Jarefromsubway.eth", stating that the relevant comments were not officially sent. The message actually comes from a MetaMask-eth (capital version) ENS account owned by an unrelated third party. MetaMask officially owns the all lowercase word 'metamask-eth'. Due to ENS allowing both uppercase and lowercase versions, and most platforms displaying lowercase names by default, the public mistakenly believed that the message was from the official source.
