Funds flowing back from emerging market ETFs listed in the United States On June 23rd, last week, investors returned to exchange traded funds (ETFs) listed in the United States to invest in emerging market stocks and bonds. Data shows that as of the week ending June 18th, the total inflow of funds from emerging market ETFs listed in the United States, investing in multiple developing countries, and specific countries was $2.16 billion, compared to $1.62 billion outflow in the previous week. So far this year, the total inflow of funds has been 41.4 billion US dollars. From a market perspective, South Korea has the largest inflow of funds, at $993.6 million, led by iShares MSCI South Korea.
