[AC Responds to Resignation from Sonic Labs Board: Responsible Only for Technical Architecture, Not Commercial or Token Decisions] According to a report by Jinse Finance, on June 21, Andre Cronje (AC) issued a statement addressing his resignation from the Sonic Labs board and clarified his specific responsibilities within the Fantom and Sonic ecosystems. He confirmed stepping down from the board but noted that some reports and community discussions have conflated his technical role with the responsibilities for all commercial, token, migration, and operational decisions related to Fantom/Sonic. AC stated that he is not the founder of the company or the original token project. Initially, he only served as a technical advisor and was not involved in designing, leading, or executing the migration from FTM to S tokens. He did not design or manage the Sonic airdrop and was not responsible for decisions regarding the FTM-S token migration or the launch of the token economic model. He also emphasized that he does not support shutting down the Ethereum ERC-20 version of FTM or halting the Opera network. Going forward, he will no longer make business decisions for Sonic Labs and will focus on building Flying Tulip.
