Yesterday when we checked liquidation data, it was only $2M. 24 hours later, mm showing some skills. Currently, total market trading volume is $1.4B, OI (open interest) is $145M. Trading volume has increased by 260%, while OI remains about the same. The long-short ratio is dropping, but it’s still a short squeeze structure. Short squeezes can lead to shakeouts in both directions—it’s not just the shorts getting liquidated. If there are too many longs, they’ll get liquidated too. Contracts are risky.
