[Iran Has Shipped 20 Million Barrels of Oil This Week]
According to a report by Jinse Finance, on June 19, Iran is transporting a large amount of oil that was previously unable to be shipped due to U.S. sanctions. This could be positive news for Tehran, as Iran signed a temporary peace agreement with Washington on Wednesday. Shipping data compiled by Bloomberg shows that a total of 11 tankers departed from Iran's Chabahar Port in the Gulf of Oman this week, carrying a total of 20 million barrels of crude oil. Previously, the U.S. military had blocked these tankers from entering the Indian Ocean in an effort to restrict Tehran's access to petrodollars.
