This figure has more than tripled since 2022, with the semiconductor index SOX surging approximately 546% over the same period, highlighting the sector's significant leadership position in the current tech cycle. From a historical perspective, the current weight of semiconductors in the S&P 500 has surpassed more than half of the peak level during the 2000 internet bubble, with a structurally significant increase.
