The Hyperliquid community is discussing the positioning of HyperEVM. Developer @0xasrequired stated that HyperEVM is not a general-purpose EVM designed for HYPE DeFi or meme applications, but rather meant to work in combination with HyperCore. If a contract doesn’t use CoreWriter or read precompiled interfaces, it shouldn’t be deployed on HyperEVM, as its 3 million Gas limit isn’t suitable for general L1 applications.
