The Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology of Oman, in collaboration with Frontier Technologies, has launched the national Bitcoin mining pool Omanhash. Under the local regulatory framework, Omanhash is the only official mining pool in Oman, and all licensed crypto mining companies are required to connect to it. In its initial phase, the pool is expected to integrate around 10 EH/s of hash power. Since 2022, Oman has invested over $700 million in mining and data center infrastructure.
