Coinbase CEO: Bitcoin May Have Bottomed Around $60K
On June 11, 2026, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong (@brian_armstrong) shared his thoughts on Bitcoin's recent price movements during the podcast *Moonshots with Peter Diamandis*. Brian analyzed that Bitcoin's short-term decline was mainly influenced by three factors: first, the AI sector absorbing a large amount of venture capital; second, regulatory clarity sparking a stablecoin boom; and third, improved macroeconomic expectations easing inflation concerns, which weakened Bitcoin's traditional appeal as an inflation hedge.
Despite this, his gut feeling is that Bitcoin has most likely bottomed around $60K. Brian believes these fluctuations are only short-term impacts, and Bitcoin, as the new digital gold, will become a key component of the future economy. He remains optimistic, predicting higher prices by 2030 and reaffirming his commitment to staying long-term bullish.
