The agency also recommended that businesses only procure quantum-safe products by 2030. ANSSI certification is a mandatory requirement for French government agencies and critical infrastructure operators, and this move will effectively phase out legacy encryption systems. ANSSI official Samih Souissi stated that this is not just a technical issue but also involves governance, industrial planning, regulation, and sovereignty.
