Analyst: Gold prices are still expected to rebound to $5000 per ounce
According to a report by Golden Finance on June 17th, analysts who pay attention to the trend of gold prices believe that it is still possible for gold to return to the level of around $5000 per ounce this year, but the high point target of $6000 per ounce that was proposed during last year's gold boom may now be difficult to achieve. Rick Kanda from The Gold Bullion Company stated in a report, "I think the forecast of $6000 per ounce may be a bit out of reach. But if central banks around the world continue to buy gold, there is a good chance that gold will touch the $5000 level." Kanda also pointed out that macroeconomic factors have changed, making gold less attractive as a safe haven asset than last year.
