JPMorgan Chase: Falling oil prices bring layout opportunities for European stock markets
According to TechFlow, on June 17th, Hugh Kimber, global market strategist at Morgan Asset Management, stated that there are attractive value investment opportunities in European stock markets following the recent drop in oil prices. He pointed out that the temporary peace agreement to be signed by the United States and Iran on Friday has cooled energy prices and created some selective investment opportunities beneath the surface of the stock index. As the yield curve steepens, bank stocks "still have further upward potential", while chemical stocks also appear attractive because their business is highly dependent on energy, and if there is a reversal in the recent oil price shock, it will benefit them. Jin Bo said, "I still believe that there are plenty of opportunities for strategic planning within the European market." When talking about the European Central Bank, Jin Bo said that the market's expectations of its need to raise interest rates "seem overestimated. He said, "If the theme of 2025 is to embrace global asset diversification, then since we can now start considering how to get through the worst of this shock, I think there is no reason not to continue this process
