Yesterday, while writing that article about tokenized stocks, I was wondering since our CEXs already have them, when will Coinbase jump on this? Didn’t expect to wake up this morning and see it, haha. I assume it’s probably targeting 'non-US users,' because it’s way too easy for Americans to buy US stocks. So Coinbase’s strategy is likely similar to what I wrote about yesterday – moving from a 'crypto exchange' to 'trading everything,' and achieving a global extension of USD assets.
