BlockBeats News, June 17: Zhipu (02513.HK) announced today the launch and open-sourcing of GLM-5.2. On the global frontend development evaluation system CodeArena, which involves blind testing by millions of users, GLM-5.2 achieved the top performance among globally available models.
Today, GLM-5.2 is designed specifically for long-range task capabilities, featuring:
- Solid1M context, providing stable support for long-range tasks;
- Enhanced tactile experience and more practical coding capabilities;
- Extreme infrastructure optimization, operational on domestic computing platforms from Day 0;
- MIT open-source license, unrestricted by geography, promoting technological equality without borders.
The 1M context forms the foundation of GLM-5.2's long-range delivery capabilities. Multiple long-range task benchmarks indicate that GLM-5.2's performance lies between Claude Opus4.7 and 4.8, making it the highest-ranked open-source model.
GLM-5.2's online inference relies on multiple domestic computing platforms and has completed inference adaptation on Day 0 with platforms such as Huawei Ascend, Pingtouge, Moore Threads, Cambricon, Kunlunxin, Muxi, Hygon, and Biren. It achieves stable operation with high throughput, low latency, and large concurrency on domestic chip clusters.
It is expected that after the Ascend 950 supernode is launched later this year, it will also serve as a robust computing foundation for GLM-5.2.
