Serenity: Mizuho Research Confirms No Delay in CPO and 800V DC Deployment, Recent Decline in Related Stocks is Purely Due to Mistakes According to BlockBeats, on June 17th, the "white haired stock god" Serenity reposted the latest research report from Mizuho Securities and commented that the recent concentrated selling of CPO concept stocks was a foolish mistake in the market. According to a research report by Mizuho, the market's concerns about the delay in mass production of co packaged optics (CPO) and the delayed deployment of 800V DC are unfounded. The two technological routes are progressing at the original pace, and the production window is expected to remain between 2028 and 2029. Driven by the high demand for Nvidia CPO switches (3.2T Spectrum-X) in 2027, Mizuho has simultaneously raised its optical engine (OE) shipment forecast. On the technical route, Mizuho believes that InP DFB lasers are still the long-term mainstream direction of CPO, and names SIVE as the relevant beneficiary target; VCSEL and microLED have not been fully validated in short distance and chip to chip interconnection scenarios within the rack, and are difficult to become mainstream alternatives in the short term. In terms of deploying 800VDC data centers, incremental shipments are expected to start in 2027, and penetration rates will further increase in 2028. The Senior Vice President of NVIDIA's Network Division previously publicly denied any delays in the Spectrum-X Ethernet CPO switch and confirmed that mass production and customer delivery will proceed as scheduled in the second half of 2026.
