Sui releases future roadmap: Building a unified value network for AI and global finance According to BlockBeats, on June 16th, Sui's development team Mysten Labs stated that its long-term goal is to build an underlying blockchain infrastructure that supports global value flows over the next decade, enabling payments, financial asset flows, and transactions between machines and AI agents to be efficiently completed on the same network. The team emphasizes that this aspiration stems from the core concept of "allowing value to flow freely like information", and continues to iterate the underlying architecture and protocol design around this goal. On the technical path, Sui attempts to achieve high throughput, low latency, and composability within a single network through object modeling, horizontally scalable architecture, and native parallel execution capabilities, and promote the on chain deployment of stablecoins, real assets, and institutional level financial products. At the same time, the project also introduces privacy transactions, gas free transfers, and income based asset mechanisms to reduce usage costs and enhance financial availability. Sui stated that in the future, the financial system will gradually migrate to public chain infrastructure, fully digitizing from individual payments to institutional capital markets, and further expanding to AI driven automated trading scenarios. The team claims to be building a unified global value network, evolving the flow of funds towards a "message passing" instant, low-cost model. [Original link]
