[Binance States It Will Continue Compliant Operations in Europe, Awaiting Clarity on MiCA Authorization Pathway]
As the transition period for the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) nears its end, Binance has stated that it will continue serving European users and is committed to operating within the applicable legal framework. Binance noted that it has engaged in 'constructive cooperation' with regulators over the past 18 months, and its MiCA license application in Greece has reportedly been reviewed by local regulators and submitted to the ESMA level for evaluation. Binance emphasized that MiCA aims to establish unified rules for digital assets in the EU, and any delays or distortions in the authorization process could undermine market liquidity and competition. Binance will provide further updates on next steps and available options to users by June 30.
