[The Ethereum ecosystem has accumulated over 1.01 million developers, with approximately 232,000 active in the past year]
SharpLink CEO Joseph Chalom posted on the X platform, stating that the Ethereum ecosystem has accumulated over 1.01 million developers, of which approximately 232,000 have been active in the past 12 months, making it the largest developer community in the crypto ecosystem. He believes Ethereum's true advantage does not lie in speed but in its role as the default operating system for programmable finance and the formation of internet-native capital.
The core issues developers are currently focusing on include protocol scalability, privacy, quantum resistance, and proxy systems. The upcoming Glamsterdam upgrade will introduce ePBS and BALs to improve L1 throughput; synchronous composability will enable multiple Rollups to operate like a single chain; in terms of quantum resistance, Ethereum has established a dedicated team aiming to complete the migration around 2029.
