Hyperbridge restarts cross chain interoperability protocol and launches OFT adapter, completing decentralized architecture upgrade
According to BlockBeats, on June 15th, the cross chain interoperability protocol Hyperbridge announced the completion of a comprehensive architecture restart. After completing security audits, vulnerability bounty incentives, and system refactoring, it will be relaunched and officially transformed into an "interoperability superstructure". The agreement has been suspended since the security incident on April 13th, during which joint audits with SRLabs and other institutions were completed, and a bounty of over $150000 was paid to security researchers. The team stated that this upgrade removes the original centralized management key and switches to a completely permissionless validator and verifier network, achieving full stack decentralized operation. This restart also introduces the "Hyper Fungible Token (HFT)" standard, making each cross chain asset an independent application layer structure, with the issuer independently controlling cross chain behavior rules, including pause mechanisms and speed limit policies. Hyperbridge has also released an OFT (Omnichain Fungible Token) adapter that is compatible with existing cross chain protocols such as LayerZero. By simply modifying configuration parameters, assets can be migrated to a zero knowledge proof based transport layer without the need to redeploy contracts. In addition, the protocol business model has shifted from pay per use to subscription based, and cross chain applications can pay a stable coin fee of $50 to $1000 per month to access bandwidth services. The official statement indicates that this upgrade marks Hyperbridge's transition from an early cross chain bridge project to a fully decentralized infrastructure protocol, with the goal of providing a unified interoperability layer for multi chain ecosystems without the need for trusted intermediaries.
