The round was led by venture capital firm Kindred Ventures. Other investors in this round include Nvidia, ARK Invest, early CoreWeave investor Magnetar Capital, as well as existing shareholders Founders Fund and Flume Ventures. Founded in 2021, Hydra Host initially served crypto miners but has since shifted to providing automation software for data center operators, enabling them to lease idle Nvidia AI server computing power and operate a GPU matchmaking marketplace that connects GPU owners with renters.
