Bybit's over 80 million users can now directly allocate idle stablecoins from their existing accounts into institutional-grade fixed income products endorsed by PIMCO (with $2.27 trillion in assets under management) and CMBI (China Merchants Bank International). These products include mortgage-backed securities, high-yield corporate bonds, and Asia-Pacific investment-grade bonds, with returns completely decoupled from crypto price volatility. It is currently estimated that up to $80 billion in stablecoins are sitting idle with zero yield on centralized exchanges.
