[Elon Musk: SpaceX's Revenue Could Reach $1 Trillion by 2030]
According to a report by Jinse Finance, on June 15, Elon Musk stated on Sunday that his rocket company SpaceX (SPCX.US) could achieve $1 trillion in revenue by 2030. This statement was made two days after the company went public, with SpaceX's valuation now exceeding $2 trillion. "I would be surprised if revenue in 2031 doesn't surpass $1 trillion," he wrote on his social media platform X in response to journalist and financial commentator Jon Erlichman.
On Friday, SpaceX became the sixth-largest company in the United States, further solidifying Musk's position as the world's first "trillionaire." However, compared to tech giants with similar valuations, such as Broadcom and Amazon, the company's profitability remains significantly lower.
In 2025, SpaceX's revenue jumped from $14.02 billion the previous year to $18.67 billion, but the company's net profit shifted from a $791 million gain to a $4.94 billion net loss. Some Wall Street analysts remain cautious about the company's growth prospects.
